HI-PLEX have been around at Hi-line for several years, it is dual technology air drying, FRIDGE & DESICCANT on the same skid
There is a point in air drying with desiccant dryers where Zero Loss capital costs offsets against energy, at sub 600cfm or 17m3/min.
Essentially HI-PLEX savings are TWO-FOLD
1. Fridge system to remove bulk oil and water
2. Desiccant dryer with vacuum assisted regeneration to reduce compressed air regeneration. Typically running at 1–2% purge as opposed to 13% on a standard heatless desiccant air dryer
