Structural Announcement
05/07/2010 I'm pleased to announce with immediate effect that Craig Watson is to assume the position of Product Manager – Refrigeration Dryers and Industrial Chillers. Craig has been in a Customer Support Role in the Hi-line team for several years and has worked closely with our production staff and design office to tailor our Refrigeration products towards our Customers requirements. This new role gives the company a single point of contact for commercial and technical decisions / development within the Refrigeration Product Range. To assist further in our busy sales office, Service Engineer Carl Croft will move into an Administrative role to support Craig and the rest of the Sales Office. Shane Adams joins us as the newest member to join our Service Department. Specialising in Adsorption dryers, Shane will be working out of our Burton-upon-Trent Headquarters
Hi-line Industries Service Department
05/07/2010 The Hi-line Service Department has been put together using only experienced compressed air treatment service personnel, engineers trained in all aspects of compressed air and gas generation.
Many Hi-line products are put out into the field, ‘unbranded’ for compressor companies and other O.E.Ms. To support these products we have an unbranded fleet of vehicles, for whenever the need arises for us to be out on behalf of a third party. (Plain overalls and customer’s service report sheets on request)
All engineers are ACRIB registered, www.acrib.org.uk and every engineer is an approved “safe refrigerant handler”. Hi-line are a REFCOM accredited company, www.refcom.org.uk, working in association with DEFRA and Department of Environment. This company registration scheme operates to higher standards than those stipulated in the F-Gas Regulations.
Whatever your service requirement Hi-line have discreet, well presented and qualified engineers to support their own and competitors compressed air treatment equipment.

ECONOMIC REPLACEMENT FILTERS OUT PERFORM OEM PRODUCTS
14/06/2010
The new Filtersoft range of cartridge filters from Hi-line Industries Ltd are claimed to offer savings of up to 75% compared to the cost of other manufacturers products. These savings are achieved, however, without any compromise on build quality, performance or anticipated service life.
Filters can be supplied for use with a wide range of fluids including compressed air, gases, process liquids together with both hydraulic and lubricating oils. They have been designed with energy efficiency in mind, to help companies alleviate the effects of the climate change levy. Typical industries include food and beverage, pharmaceutical, pulp and paper, chemical, semi-conductor and automotive as well as many general industrial and processing operations.
Hi-line are able to cross-reference over 147,000 different cartridge filter elements, covering a wide range of filtration products from a large number of suppliers to this market. Their Filtersoft range combines maximum chemical and thermal compatibility, with availability in a wide range of sizes and end cap materials and configurations to ensure that they can be used as drop-in replacements for most filters.
They can be supplied for particulate removal, vacuum mist elimination, instrument air, coalescing and odour absorption applications. A multistage filtration effect including impaction, direct interception and diffusion is achieved with the ultrafine 100% borosilicate glass microfibers used for the body of the filtration element. The elements are also designed to fit directly into existing filter housings without modifications or the need for special fitting kits, with popular filter element sizes being available from stock.
The proprietary Microflex filter media used in the manufacture of Hi-line products features a tapered-pore structure which ensures 99.99999% particle removal down to 0.01 microns. In many cases, this performance is higher than original equipment specifications and is coupled with high flow rates, good dirt holding potential and low differential pressures to provide long service life.
As well as manufacturing replacement filter cartridges, Hi-line can also supply a range of desiccant and fridge dryers for the treatment of compressed air. In addition, they offer a Total Filter Management (TFM) strategy, designed for supplying all company filtration needs from process chemicals to effluent strainers.

Hi-line Timer Drains - HTD
10/08/2009 ***SPECIAL OFFER***
Single HTD any size or voltage: £22.75
10 off HTD's can be mixed port or voltage: £196.00
Great emphasis over many years has been put on ‘Zero-Loss’ autodrains for condensate. In our opinion and I’m sure you will agree, when it comes to reliability, it always falls short of the mark.
The most reliable, value for money condensate drain is the good old fashioned Solenoid Timer Drain. The robust solenoid timer drain is the most effective way to remove condensate from vessels, tanks, filters and dryers. If the multi-variable timer is set up correctly to only discharge condensate and not air, it becomes as energy efficient as any Zero Loss drain, at a fraction of the cost of ownership. This is with the added bonus of it actually working! It doesn’t matter how good your dryer or filter is, if the drain is not taking out the condensate, its no good. The Hi-line HTD has a huge brass body to enable a healthy purchase from nipples direct into to the HTD, but importantly the big body allows larger internal porting to allow awkward particulate and vessel scale through the HTD without blocking up.
Available in a range of sizes and voltages, (please see website for technical literature) the HTD has a single price across the range.
We have been supplying these to the compressed air industry for many years. Do not confuse these with cheap valved copies, THESE ARE THE ONES THAT WORK! Every Service Engineer should carry these on their van. Call today to get your special offer pack

ACRIB News Update
29/06/2009 Wth over 6,000 individuals now holding the Air conditioning and Refrigeration Industry Board (ACRIB) card, the ACRIB Register is a key tool for helping end users and employers verifiy the engineers competence.
This voluntary register of individuals has been in operation for over 15 years. It addresses a practical need industry-wide for evidence that engineers have taken a refrigerant handling or F Gas qualification. A wallet sized photo card and a national database of individuals are just two of the services it provides.
